Census Day

Make sure you are counted in the Census. The most important thing you can do is respond to the census questionnaire when you receive it.

There will be multiple ways to respond:
• Online – For the first time, the census questionnaire can be completed online using your personal
computer. If you do not have a computer or access to the internet, please visit the local library.
• Phone – The U.S. Census Bureau will have a phone system set up so you can call and complete
the census questionnaire at your convenience.
• Mail – If you do not choose to complete the questionnaire online or utilize the phone system, you
can still submit your questionnaire via U.S. mail.

Your census questionnaire answers are kept confidential by the U.S. Census Bureau. The information is
not shared with other federal or state government agencies.

This is a unique event to help people with a misdemeanor on their record. Potential employers would not be able to see your criminal record if it is expunged or sealed. More details will be available in the next few months, so continue to monitor the website below for further details.

Not all misdemeanors can be expunged such as DUI’s and domestic battery convictions, but it might be possible to get those records sealed. Pre-registration will be available online, and trained lawyers will receive your records and inform you prior to the event if your records cannot be expunged or sealed. If you qualify, fingerprints and drug tests will be done prior to the Fresh Start Fair.

Location:
